Lightly suspended on a black powder-coated steel frame, the upholstered shell of the Aloe Chair by Italian Luca Nichetto is designed with a strong outline refined by piping details along the edge, inspired by the characteristic leaves of the Aloe.
Working with contrasts in the design, Nichetto combines a tightly padded outer shape with a soft interior carried by a black tubular frame in steel, joined by horizontal stitching on the back piece that mimics the look of folded textile.

In 2006 Luca Nichetto founded a multidisciplinary design studio in Venice, Italy, which specialised in industrial design, product design and design consultancy. From the very beginning, this studio collaborated with a number of different brands and organisations, quickly expanding its influence far beyond Venice and Italy’s borders. Five years later, in 2011, Nichetto opened a second studio in Stockholm, Sweden.
